Admissions / Registration Services

This program gives a provider the ability to outsource the entire admissions / registration process. The process begins with the co-development of standard operational procedures and the delineation of responsibilities between the newly outsourced department and the various departments within the hospital. Through a series of transitional steps IHMS becomes the employer of the hospital's admitting and ER registration staff assuming all of the responsibilities therein. IHMS gradually introduces additional services to the facility starting with financial counseling and eventually implementing eligibility services.

Business Office Services

This program offers an alternative to smaller rural facilities and assists in the outsourcing of all of the traditional functions of a hospital based business office including, billing, follow-up, collections, customer service, and cash posting. IHMS is able to implement a program within a relatively short period of time. An initial on-site assessment is conducted prior to the facility receiving a proposal.
